I'm good with that!
Since 2017, professional and high-quality physiotherapy and rehabilitation services are available at the ACB Tennis Club.
Let us introduce you to the range of services at ACB Physiotherapy.
Physiotherapy is a set of different procedures for improving the physical functioning of a patient, both for health promotion purposes and for disease prevention and treatment. The task of physiotherapy is to evaluate the patient's physical functional status by examining its impact on various daily activities and human well-being. Physiotherapy is necessary in cases where changes in physical function are observed. These changes can be acute, chronic and any activity created.
During the consultation therapist will clarify the reasons for the visit, whether it is an acute or chronic illness or a general visit by a physiotherapist to an individual's condition. During the consultation, therapist will look into previous examination (magnetic resonance, ultrasonography, computed tomography, x-ray) findings and conclusions of other doctors, which will be evaluated and discussed during the consultation with the client. Further treatment plans and visits will be discussed at the end of the colsultation. Minor complaints and illnesses can be treated and relieved during the first consultation.
The task of physiotherapy is to evaluate the patient's physical functional status by examining its impact on various daily activities and their impact on a person's well-being. Movement disorders
  • Pain
  • Recovery phase after injury
  • Various bone, joint and muscle disorders
  • Nervous system disorders
  • Respiratory system disieases
  • Cardiovascular diseases
  • etc.
During the process of Physical Functional Status evaluation the physiotherapist uses different methods:

    • patient self-expression
    • posture and walking analysis
    • movement and muscle funcion evaluation
    • balance and coordination evaluation
    • muscle and ligament evaluation
Physical functional condition treatment process: The physiotherapy treatment process is divided into two general groups: the active and the passive therapy method. Active physiotherapy describes the active involvement of the patient in the treatment process. This method uses therapeutic exercises, balance and coordination exercises, relaxation techniques, various special therapies. Active methods are particularly important in the case of serious illnesses, because without the active involvement of the patient the desired outcome of the therapy will not be achieved. Passive physiotherapy describes a passive patient's condition during the treatment process. These methods include massaging, muscle stretching, taping, and various manipulations with a strong action on the body. Passive methods are mainly used to improve local conditions.

Shock Wave Therapy is widely used in many medical fields, including orthopedics, physiotherapy, sports medicine, urology and veterinary medicine. This therapy is suitable for the treatment and alleviation of various types of skeletal pain and changes.

Suitable for both acute and chronic diseases such as:
        • Muscle pain
        • Inflammation of the tendons
        • Jumping Road (Schlater)
        • Tennis and Golfer elbow
        • Tendinopathies
        • Calcinophytes
        • Backache
        • Shoulder pain
Sling suspension exercises provides faster results for everyone who wants to perform better, prevent injury, avoid pain or just want to stay active. Utilizing your own body weight as resistance, there are hundreds of suspension exercises available to maximize use of your training or treatment space.

          Suitable for:
          • Exercising (strength, durability, joint stability, etc.)
          • Backbone stretching
          • Body relaxation
          • To increase the movement amount
          • Muscle stretching
High Intensity Laser (HIL) technology is based on the well-known principle of low level laser therapy (LLLT). High power and choice of the right wavelength allow for deep tissue penetration. HIL offers powerful and non-addictive form of pain management. Through a natural process of energy transfer (biostimulation and photomechanical effect) it speeds up healing and regeneration. HIL is particularly effective in treatment of sport injuries, e.g. muscle strain or joint distortion, and back pain caused by e.g. herniated disc or disorders in the cervical region causing neck pain. Laser therapy is often combined with shock wave therapy.

Suitable for both acute and chronic diseases such as:
            • Sports trauma (sprain, dislocation, rupture)
            • Trigger points
            • Shoulder sprain
            • Ankle sprain
            • Intervertebral disc hernia
            • Backbone pain
            • Arthritis
            • Muscle rupture
The Targeted Radiofrequency Therapy helps relieve trigger points and muscle spasms that prevent regaining the full range of joint movement.
It is used to heat tissues and develop passive or active movements.

Suitable for both acute and chronic diseases such as:
            • Muscle pain
            • Back pain
            • Joint pain
            • Tendonits
            • Carpal tunnel syndrome
            • Joint dislocation
Exercises are chosen taking into account the individual's physical activity, physical condition, work mode and illness or trauma specifics. When developing an individual exercise complex, it can be continued under the supervision of a therapist or independently in the conditions and at the time desired by the patient. The therapist shows, explains and passes the exercises to a patient in an illustrated or video format.
Therapeutic exercise is a medical discipline that performs the functions listed below.

Suitable for both acute and chronic diseases such as:
            • Disease prevention
            • Disiease treatment
            • Prevention of complications of diseases
            • Disease relief
            • For physical, mental and professional ability restoration
            GROUP EXERCISE
Group exercises are suitable for individuals with similar physical abilities or illness. Exercise in a group is usually recommended by a therapist if the client has attended at least some individual classes and the therapist has a clear vision of the individual's physical abilities.
Regular training can improve your health and reduce the risk of developing several diseases, it benefits every part of the body, including the mind. Training can help you lose weight and look better, boost your energy levels and even help you age well, but most importantly, regular activity can improve your quality of life. To get desired results, it is important to consult with a trainer or therapist to understand what is the best type of exercise for you, because not everything is for everyone.
Children are growing and developing rapidly. This means that not only physical, but also physiological issues must be considered when training children. It is important to include different types of exercises in child's training programme, so they could hold their attention and also be entertained while training.
This kind of training uses electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) as an efficient method for high-intensity workouts of short duration. The EMS system stimulates nearly all your muscles with low-frequency electric pulses. EMS is the latest trend of our time and gives you the most effective and easiest whole body workout in the world.

Dynostics is a device that can determine physical load levels and performance. It will help the individual determine the current functional characteristics during exercise by spirometry. After the test, you will be shown the level of workout intensity you need to train in order to reach your goals as quickly and successfully as possible. Regardless of your goal (body fat reduction or high performance in sport) the Dynostics method will help make the process more effective. Using a closed breathing mask for examination, Dynostics records the entire flow of respiratory gases and analyzes the concentration of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the inhaled and exhaled air very accurately.
Massage therapy is manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments) to enhance a person's health and well -being.

            Massage can be helpful for:

            • Pain (back pain, shoulder pain, headaches, etc.)
            • Soft tissue strains or injuries
            • Sports injuries
            SPORTS MASSAGE
Sports massage was developed to help athletes prepare their bodies for optimal performance, recover after a big event, or function well during training. In sports massage, the massage therapist generally concentrates on a specific problem area that you present, usually associated with some sort of sports activity, such as running, tennis, golf, etc.
Taping is a method of application of a thin, stretchy, cotton-based therapeutic band that can facilitate the body's natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body's range of motion It is commonly used to relieve pain, improve joint stability, reduce injury recurrence and to prevent injury.
            DYNAMIC TAPING
The main benefit of dynamic tape is to maintain and enhance joint movement, which allows to recover injured and damaged muscles. Unlike kinesiological tapes, dynamic tapes are much stronger and more durable.
